Pablo Márquez

Argentiinalainen Pablo Márquez on klassisen kitaran suvereeni taitaja ja herkkä tulkitsija. Hänen musiikillinen älykkyytensä ja vertaansa vailla olevat tekniset taidot ovat tehneet hänestä suositun yhteistyökumppanin nykysäveltäjille.

Marquezin ainutlaatuinen sointi, joka on kuultavilla lukuisilla äänitteillä, on tuonut hänelle kriitikoiden ylistystä ja monia palkintoja. Argentinian master guitarist Pablo Márquez is known for his sensitive interpretations and exceptional guitar skills, Márquez's musical intelligence and unmatched technical prowess have made him a favored collaborator among contemporary composers.

His unique sound, heard in numerous recordings, have earned him critical acclaim and many awards, including the Grand Prix du Disque Charles Cros and the Prix Amadeus. Márquez's "Música del Delphin", released with ECM in 2007, earning significant acclaim. His discography further includes groundbreaking recordings of guitar and orchestra works such as A fuoco by Luca Francesconi with the Ensemble Intercontemporain conducted by the Finnish Susanna Mälkki.

Márquez's international career has led him to perform in more than 40 countries and in some of the most renowned concert halls and festivals across the globe. He's not only a performer of great acclaim but also a respected educator, teaching at the Musik-Akademie in Basel and conducting master classes worldwide. His lifetime of work with classical guitar has been acknowledged with awards like the Argentinian Konex Prize.
